The fire truck incident is no laughing matter. These men had been drinking, and had no experience driving such large trucks. What if they hit someone? What if there was a fire, but the truck wasn't available because these men were out road drinking? Someone could have been hurt or killed. These are supposed to be responsible public officals. They should be ashamed of themselves and the public should not tolerate such juvenile and dangerous behavior.
I want to know who gave them the keys? Someone high-up in the fire department must have given the OK. Others must have stood by and done nothing to stop it. Very irresponsible conduct by people who should be setting an example.
Allegedly, some local high-level public officials went joy-riding around town in a firetruck, either while they were drinking, or after they had been drinking, at an event at the fire station. I will not identify them by name, but these men all still hold the same offices.

Let's count our blessings. The public officials could have gone to Morris airport instead of the fire station...
These guys are so arrogant they think the rules don't apply to them.
You can bet the new chief of police/fire chief will be telling all if he is not appointed in May.
Are you crazy nobody turns in a family member in for a stupid indiscretion. I mean the whole town would be in jail.
IT WOULD BE NICE TO KNOW THE WHOLE STORY. SOME OF US ARE NOT AWARE OF THIS INCIDENT.
