Why was the meter pulled? Is Senreq so successful at generating energy from garbage that it no longer needs to buy electricity?

$1,200 a year rent sure is a sweetheart of a deal. Who do you have know at city hall to get a deal like that?

With all of the scandals at city hall, Morris is getting a reputation for corruption. This is very sad for our community.
The city will buy the pole building from Senreq for much, much more than it is really worth.
How can we shine some light on a backroom sweetheart deal for the darkened pole building, before it goes down?
To all who live in District 54 and 101, but not in the city limits. We city dwellers thank you. Since 1986 your school taxes have been higher to replace funds diverted to TIF. We are going to use the TIF money to build a huge new city hall! (sorry you can't use any of the services.) Thanks again for your generous contribution!
Man, Shugart, Elleson and Curt Merc were so off base when they criticized the city for this SenreQ deal. It's really proven to be such a wonderful accomplishment for Morris. How many tons of waste are we converting into energy at this point?
Brian Fenney can negotiate a deal on behalf of the city to get the lights back on.
It is a good thing one alderman seen this coming and demanded our $50,000.00 dollars back.

How is the new sewage treatment plant going to run now? Was'nt this place going to supply all the electricity to the plant. I know i read that in the local paper. MY GOD, WAIT A SECOND, THEY HAVE DONE IT!!!, is it possible that this is some kind of perpetual motion machine?
It is the new state of the art workout center for all government employees throughout the county. There will be treadmills hooked up to small generation devices that will now power outside users. lord knows we've got enough fatties to work up a sweat.
Morris should not pay anything for the pole building. If it is affixed to the land, it becomes part of the real estate and belongs to the landlord. If it is a "trade fixture" the tenant can legally remove it so long as no damage is done to the property. Either way. If Senreq leaves it, it belongs to the city. If they want to take it, let them. Morris should not pay one single penny to this company. They have done enough to embarass our community.

So Senreq has figured out that burning combustibles gives off energy. I think scientists had already made this discovery at least by the time the steam-powered locomotive was invented.
Brian Feeney has announced that he is forming a committee to negotiate a deal to get the lights back on at Senreq. He doesn't know if he can get back the great deal that we had, but he promises to do his best.
It's a good thing the city of Morris terminated its agreement when it did an got our $50,000 back. What ever happended to the contractor(s) who worked on the demo facility and claimed they weren't paid? Didn't one of them claim a mechanic's lien?
I want to run for sheriff, when I was a little boy I played and witnessed cops and robbers with my buddies. I feel that makes me more than qualified for the position. Also I love the TV show cops.
I think it is laughable that Paulson is running for coroner. He has done nothing to help his own ward with their biggest issue - the paper mill. The city should be using TIF and condemnation powers to correct this eyesore instead of building the Taj Mahal.
Has anyone else heard about a memo sent out to all the cops from the chief of police? I heard that morale is plummeting at the police department.

The new chief's head is on the chopping block. I bet you won't read this scandel on the front page of the MDH. The scandels seem do not stop this administration. Can we please get some responsible adults in city hall. A fish rots from the head down.

I wonder if the ex -chief will be forthcoming about drunken fire truck road trip now that he has been handed his hat? He must be thinking that nobody was made to resigned over that scandel.
My guess is that his "resignation" had less to do with the fire truck incident and more to do with his subordinate taking care of his business!
