Mayoral appointment

It has been several weeks since the republican party nominated Darrell Brown to fill the vacancy left by the resignation of alderman Bob Elleson. There have been several city council meetings, but Mayor Kopczick still hasn't made the appointment. Why? Could it be Chicago-style partisan politics, like those criticized by Luella Kellogg and Mike Farrell?

You hit the nail on the head with this comment.

You’re just hurting your own party and yourself by doing phony postings using my moniker. Your not that bright are you? I'll find out soon who you are, trust me.

The appointment wouldn't have been made except everyone was talking about the delay.

ONE ALDERMAN WANT TO BE ON THE EAST SIDE SHOULD NOT BE IN CHARGE OF THE VENDING MACHINES AT CITY HALL.

Why is the police union contract nearing one year with no contract? Didn't the city hire a negotiator for this contract? What happened? Did he know what he was doing? Isn't this the same man District #54 is hiring to select a new supt.?

Anybody else wondering who is actually writing all the voice of the people columns that keep appearing criticizing the heritage project ads? It's obviously a concerted pr effort by somebody...hmmmm....who could that be....

Darrell Brown will need to find a toolshed to hide in within the city limits of Morris now. He won't be able to hide out at the Pioneer Seed Dealer south of the river anymore if he needs to keep an eye on Morris.
